Description
Kalachakra Mandala is a Sanskrit word for ‘wheel of time’. It shows an aerial view of the Kalachakra temple and 722 Deities, and at the heart on a Lotus flower, a single Buddha.
It is a 5 level structure containing the elements of wisdom, wind, fire, water, earth and space. And at the entrance – Body, Speech and Mind. It was once a guarded secret of the Shambhala Kingdom and its meditation practices mostly are done by monks behind temple doors. The Dalai Lama has taught 33 separate initiations all over world.
The Kalachakra initiations empower the student to enter into the state of Shri Kalachakra and merge with the deity.
